Most food-discovery apps treat trucks as a side category to chain restaurants. We built GrubTrucks as the opposite. The whole product is shaped around the way trucks actually work.

Free to list. No monthly fee, no per-order commission, no "promoted" pay-to-play. We don't take a cut of your sales because we don't touch your sales.
Real-time hours and location. Update from your phone in seconds. The status pill on each truck card tells customers instantly whether you're open right now, closing soon, or on a break.
One-tap directions to where you actually are. Apple Maps, Google Maps, Waze, Uber, Lyft — your customers pick how they get to you.
Trucks first, always. We don't surface chain restaurants alongside you. When a customer opens the app, they came here to find a truck.
No data brokering. We don't sell your customer-traffic data. We don't run an ad business. We don't sync to a third-party CRM you didn't authorize.

No setup fee, no monthly fee, no commission on orders. The business model long-term is closer to an optional tip jar than a marketplace tax. Operators can support the project if they want to. They never have to.

How to get listed

Three steps. Most done by us.

1. Email us. Tell us the truck's name, city, and any existing web presence (Instagram, website, Facebook, whatever you have). We do the heavy lifting from there.
2. We onboard you. We send you the operator manual, a verification step (we don't want random people listing trucks they don't own), and a short call or message thread if you'd like.
3. You take control. Once verified, you switch to Vendor mode in the GrubTrucks app and run your listing from your phone. Locations, hours, menu, photos — all under your control.

Practical questions.

What does GrubTrucks actually need from me?

The truck's name, the cuisine type, where you typically operate, and your hours. Photos help but aren't required. Menus with prices help customers commit; you can update them anytime.

Do I have to commit to anything?

No. You can pull your listing at any time. No early-termination fee because there's no contract to begin with.

Will my customers see ads next to my listing?

No. There are no ads in GrubTrucks. There is no plan to introduce ads. The whole experience is built around trucks, not around monetizing attention.

Can I update my location from my phone?

Yes — that's the entire point of Vendor mode. Open the app, tap your truck, hit "Update location." Customers see the new position within seconds.

What about tips, payments, online ordering?

GrubTrucks does not currently process payments or take orders on your behalf — we don't want to be in the middle of your transactions. The optional XRP wallet feature lets customers send a tip directly to a wallet address you publish; we never touch the funds. Future features will preserve that "we don't sit between you and your customer" principle.

I run multiple trucks. Can I list all of them?

Yes. Each truck is its own listing, all managed from the same Vendor account.

Beyond the listing — the Operator Suite

Getting your truck listed is the first piece. We're also building the rest of what an independent operator needs, or you can retain me directly. Three ways to get there:

GrubTrucks Operator Suite — Founder's Tier: $1,000/year (USD) for 5 years, then free forever. Limited to the first 100 operators. $5,000 total across 5 years, then $0 every year after — you own the suite for life. Includes the complete software stack: this discovery app, an inbound AI receptionist that takes orders while you're on the grill, food-truck-tuned bookkeeping (works alongside QuickBooks), and year-end tax preparation for every entity type. After the 100 founder seats fill: $1,250/year (USD) annual upfront (17% off), or $140/month (USD) on a 12-month plan. Monthly customers qualify for $1,000/year loyalty pricing starting Year 2.
Personal bookkeeping — $700/month (USD), month-to-month, cancel anytime. I'll be your bookkeeper. Month 1 includes three 1-hour onboarding meetings to get your books set up, answer your questions, and get systems running. One-on-one coaching — $700/month (USD), 3-month minimum. For owners who want to handle their own books and LLC paperwork but want a real expert in their corner.
