These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of the GrubTrucks mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). The Service is provided by Magpie Studios LLC ("we", "us", or "our").
By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in jurisdictions where that is the digital consent age) to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
By using the Service you represent that you can form a binding contract with us and are not prohibited from doing so under the laws of your jurisdiction.
GrubTrucks helps you discover food trucks, restaurants, and similar businesses near you, by aggregating publicly-available business information from third-party providers (currently Yelp and Google Places) into a single mobile interface.
The Service includes features for browsing and searching nearby food businesses, saving favorites that sync across your devices, viewing business details (hours, photos, ratings), linking out to navigation apps for directions, and linking out to ride-share apps (Uber, Lyft).
We do not operate, own, or warrant any of the food businesses listed in the Service. We do not handle reservations or orders.
You may optionally configure a cryptocurrency receive address in Settings, which we encode into a QR code displayed on your profile. We do not handle, custody, transmit, or process payments. Any cryptocurrency transaction made by another user who scans your QR is a direct peer-to-peer transfer between that user's wallet and the address you control. See Section 7 for details.
You sign in to GrubTrucks using Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google. We do not maintain a password-based system. Your access depends on your continued ability to authenticate with the chosen provider.
You are responsible for activity that occurs under your GrubTrucks account. Notify us promptly at hello@grubtruck.app if you become aware of unauthorized access to or use of your account.
You may only create one GrubTrucks account per Apple ID and one per Google account. You may not transfer or share your account with another person.
You may stop using the Service at any time by signing out and uninstalling the app. To delete your account and your associated data, follow the instructions in our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or if continued provision of the Service to you becomes infeasible.

Business listings, ratings, photos, hours, and reviews shown in the Service are sourced from third-party providers (Yelp, Google Places). We do not author or verify this content. Information may be incomplete, out of date, or incorrect. Always verify critical details (hours, address, dietary restrictions, dietary content) directly with the business before relying on them.
The Service includes deep-link affordances to Apple Maps, Google Maps, Waze, Yelp, Uber, and Lyft. When you tap one of these affordances, you leave GrubTrucks and your interaction with that third-party service is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies, not these Terms.
By using the Service, you also agree to comply with the terms of any third-party services we surface (Yelp, Google Maps Platform, Sign in with Apple, Uber deep-link terms, Lyft deep-link terms).
The GrubTrucks app, its source code, design, branding, documentation, and any other materials we create are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use the Service on devices you own or control, for personal non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.
Yelp, Google, Apple, Waze, Uber, Lyft, and other names and logos shown in the Service are the trademarks of their respective owners. Their inclusion does not imply endorsement of GrubTrucks by those parties.
You retain ownership of any content you create, including the list of businesses you favorite. You grant us a limited license to store, transmit, and display that content as needed to operate the Service.
This section governs the optional cryptocurrency QR feature. If you do not configure a wallet, this section does not apply to you.
GrubTrucks is not a cryptocurrency exchange, broker, custodian, or money transmitter. We do not hold or have access to your cryptocurrency funds, private keys, or seed phrases. We do not initiate, sign, or transmit cryptocurrency transactions on your behalf. We do not match buyers and sellers, route payments, or settle balances.
When you configure a receive address in Settings, we store that public address on your device and encode it into a QR code. That is the entirety of the feature.
Any cryptocurrency payment made by another person who scans your QR code is a direct peer-to-peer transfer over the XRP Ledger between that person's wallet and the address you provided. GrubTrucks is not a party to the transaction. We have no ability to reverse, cancel, freeze, or modify the transaction once it is broadcast.
Nothing in the Service related to cryptocurrency is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Consult qualified professionals before making any financial decision.
We may modify, restrict, or remove the cryptocurrency QR feature at any time without notice, including in response to legal, regulatory, or platform-policy requirements.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIM THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY OF DATA.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free; that displayed information (business hours, ratings, photos, addresses, contact info) is accurate, current, or complete; that any listed third party is open, operating, reputable, safe, or food-safety-compliant; or that any food or service you obtain through following a GrubTrucks listing meets your expectations.
You are solely responsible for verifying any information displayed in the Service before relying on it.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL GRUBTRUCKS, ITS OWNERS, OR ITS CONTRIBUTORS BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, LOST DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR PERSONAL INJURY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100) OR (B) THE TOTAL FEES YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In those jurisdictions our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GrubTrucks, its owners, and its contributors from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service in violation of these Terms; your violation of any third party's rights, including intellectual-property or privacy rights; or your violation of any applicable law or regulation.
These Terms remain in effect while you use the Service. You may end your use at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service for any reason, including if you violate these Terms. The provisions of Sections 4 (Acceptable use), 5 (Third-party content), 6 (Intellectual property), 7 (Crypto wallet), 8 (Disclaimers), 9 (Limitation of liability), 10 (Indemnification), and 12 (Governing law) survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
If you are a consumer in the European Union or United Kingdom, nothing in this Section limits any rights you may have under mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top and, for material changes, notify you in-app. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
